Intensive Tanning is a convenient quick and safe approach to a natural looking tan. Your therapist can apply it easily and quickly on both face and body. Intensive Tanning is formulated with hydrolysed silk protein and coral seaweed which help nourish and condition the skin. These ingredients also help to maintain the tan and allow it wear off gradually improve the skin's elasticity and tone.

How does it work?

Intensive Tanning contains DHA (dihydroxyacetone).

This has sugar reaction with the amino acids in the top layer of the skin, producing a similar reaction to the sun without the rays!!

How to prepare for your Intensive Tanning spray Tanning Treatment:

The day before the I.T Tanning Treatment:

• You must exfoliate the day before the tan application. Ensure you pay extra attention to dry & rough areas such as hands, knees, elbows and feet. Rinse off residue well in shower.
• Apply Intensive Tanning Body Dew to dry areas, concentrating again on hands, knees, elbows and feet. This will prevent those tell tail darker areas.

The day of you're Intensive Tanning Treatment:

• Shower well before attending your appointment.
• DO NOT USE deodorant, anti-perspirant or moisturiser as it will inhibit the tan from working correctly.
• Wear loose fitting clothing, including dark underwear or a bikini if you feel more comfortable. It is important to wear slip or on shoes/sandals as boots/shoes/runners will definitely wear off the freshly applied tan.
• All hair removal treatments must be done 24 prior to Intensive Tanning treatment.

Your Intensive Tanning Treatment

• Your therapist will guide you through the necessary movements and positions.
• If your hair is long tie it back so that your therapist can access your neck.
• It is your choice whether you would like to leave bikini on during treatment to remove your bikini top so that you won't have any strap marks.
• Our Intensive Tanning treatment is available in two shades, Original-which is a nice golden brown and Dark-which is a deep mahogany. It is recommended you try the original first as most our clients find it is the most natural shade (especially those with fair skin colouring). You can however discuss this with your therapist as she can mix shades to give you the colour and tone your looking for.
• Your Intensive Tanning treatment takes approximately 15-30 minutes, which includes your preparation and drying time.
• Unlike some tans, one visit is enough, which saves you the bother of having to return to your salon two days in row.
• Intensive Tanning lasts approximately 7 days therefore it is recommended you book your top up one week after your initial application
