Re: Natural looking Make-up!!
Yeh, im not big into make up, dont wear it day to day, sometimes I might put on a bit of mascara and eyeliner if I want to add a bit of drama, but the full face is only ever done for weddings or special days. Even nights out alot of the time I skip foundation and just do eye make-up!

Though I like the idea of checking out youtube, never thought of that. Will have to wait and see, when I mentioned to my beautician that I had set a date, she practically booked us in there and then, and now beginning to feel bad if I dont use her!

dont feel bad if you dont use her its your day lol, but if you know she is good go with her!! if not tell her that a friend has offered to do it as wedding gift!! you tube has some great videos on it step by step on everything!! have a chat with your beautician about a make up lesson and see what she says or even get your make-up done by her for a night out and then you will know if she is good and if she is good she can give you a lesson!!

Re: Natural looking Make-up!!
I got her to do my make-up for the debs years ago and I liked how she done my eyes, but didnt like the amount and colour of the foundation, felt she put alot on and looked quite dark, but then she could be different for bridal make-up as its much more subdued. I know the young girl that she has in the salon does make-up for weddings and goes to people's houses to do it! I think I would prefare to get my make-up done at home, more relaxed!

Re: Natural looking Make-up!!
if someone is used to doing bridal make up they will defo keep it more natural for weddings!! if you know she is good at make up get her to do a trile and that way you can tell her what you like and dislike!! i came across the folloing article on another site and thought it was brilliant advice both for people doing their own make up or else getting a make up artist hope you find it helpfull!! its basicaly 7 tips for flalwess bridal make up and its by Make up By Ash who is also a supplier on this site!!
Aisling’s Top Tips:
1. Keep it Natural: On your wedding day, you want to look and feel the most beautiful version of yourself. It’s not the day to experiment with a new make-up look. You don’t want see a stranger in the mirror or worse yet, look back at your wedding photos and say, ‘Oh my god, what was I thinking?!’ Keep it natural and gorgeous.
2. Brighten up Later: Remember you can always add more gloss/sparkle or a slightly brighter lipstick after the church and photos for the reception.
3. Stay in Your Budget: When it comes to bridal beauty, buying an entire set of new make-up specifically for the wedding is not practical. Buy a few new things that make you feel gorgeous, try choosing make-up that you will be able to wear again.
4. Maintain Good Habits: To prevent skin reactions, don’t change your skincare regime before your wedding and double up on water intake at least one month prior to the wedding to keep your skin clear and glowing. It really does make a difference.
5. Don’t Look Like the Tin Man: Make-up with sheen is pretty but don't get carried away. Reflective products look nice in person but when the flash goes off the shine is doubled or tripled.
6. Choose Long Lasting Products:Go for long lasting make-up products to ensure all day performance. Waterproof mascara is a good option. The last thing you want is to constantly reapply.
7. Touch-Up: Appoint a "spot checker". This could be one of your bridesmaids. Ask them to let you know if your make up needs touching up. .

Thats brill, and the teenagers will love it, especially if they get to try out different styles and applications!!!! When I was in 5th year we got a chance to have someone to come in and chat to us after school about hair and beauty tips and tricks and was brilliant, we loved it, never missed a week!!!!
