Can anyone recommend a good site to order invitations. I've been searching websites and it's begining to wreck my head!! We dont want to spend a fortune on invitations but want good quality.

Hi

I know the invitations on the internet can be so expensive and for most people (myself included) i keep in the invitation for a few weeks then throw it away unless it is someone very close to me.

Melb on this website had great ideas. They are one of the other forums i think the one on the giveaway.

There are d.i.y wedding invitations that can be bought in arts and crafts shops. This is what i am going to go for.

YOu could try daintree.ie, they have loads of invitations and if you chose their self assembly option they work out cheaper again! Looking at websites you should see if you can chose to assemble the invites yourself with a diy kit form the supplier to see if that cuts costs.

Daintree also allow you to design your own invites, they send you everything ready to be assembled with insturctions!

Could you see what one's your h2b likes and then see if you like any that he likes or take bits from invites he likes and bits from invites you like and put them together. vistaprint is also a good option, you can use photos of the two of you together, but they also have loads of templates that you could try!

I was on vistaprint before it seemed quite reasonable too. I must try daintree.ie to see what its like.

Thanks

Dont be afraid to ring them or send them an email, they are really helpfull and friendly and if your ever in the city centre you should drop in to see them, worth a visit to chat to them and see in person their range of papers and embellishments and to also see how you put your invites together!

hi,
im not sure hwre you are from but there is a place in sandyford in dublin, you make an appointment and you do a look at different cards, when you choose one you like you buy all the bits you need for it and make them yourself!! works out MUCH cheaper!! and you get to personalise them!! we have decided to do that option!! instead of having my fathers name as the inviter we are going to put Mikey would like to invite-------(whoevers name)------- to his mummy and daddys wedding on the--------. Mikey is our 1 year old son so i love that idea!!! anyway if you want the name of that place let me know!!
