I went on a hen nite in may and we went to Carrick on Shannon for the weekend.

It was fantastic - we made coctails - had a meal - went on the booze cruise and then on to the night club - it was all a package offer and the day went really well.

I would definately go there again!

Went to westport for a hen, was brilliant, rented holiday homes and we all shared rooms, was brilliant criac, plenty of places to eat, plenty of pubs and plenty to do during the day, also only 15 mins from castlebar for shopping, though we just chilled out during the day as was fab weather and we were all sunbathing in the back yards and some of us went for a walk around town and others went on one of the trails.

Hi Cathy

Westport is a gr8 place for a hen - its a very popular place for hen/stag wknds so you will see loads of other hens and stage partys there.

If there is a big gang of you, it might be just as cheap to hire a bus to take you there and back again. I know the last hen do i was on was about 3hrs away and we hired a bus and they charged us €20 - €25 per head. The bus driver stayed up the nite (but they dont always) and picked us up the next day - it meant we could visit some of the pubs on the way there and the way back just to quench our awful thirst haha :P

We had a brilliant time in Westport, we got a bus and a driver aswell to take us, should have only taken about 2 hours, but took over 4 as left late and had quite a few pit stops along the way
