Ring Sizes

Postby Mrs2be » Mon Jun 14, 2010 11:46 am

My engagement ring has been resized twice now.

It was too big and i have practically no knuckle so the ring was just slippin off.

With the wedding band on first and then the engagement ring im thinking that it may still be too big and maybe i should get it a little smaller again becuase it would be further up on my finger and i might loose it but i dont want it to be too tight either.

Should i just aske what the jewelers think when we r picking our wedding rings.

anybody have any similar problems and what were you thinking of doing?

Does it still slip off your finger? The rings in the shop were all too big for me too! I got my ring sized to a k and half but its still very loose but my fingers swell so much when I'm warm that I can't get it smaller! Ah well! I'd ask the jeweller when ye go back in. The wedding band would hold it a bit more securely but you don't want to be worrying about it all the time! Also what my jeweller recommended I do is to wrap a little tissue around the band. It'll tighten it by roughly a size and then you can wear it for a day and see how it feels.
Hope this helps!

You should ask the jewelers advise! Though always get your ring resized when your hands are warm as your hands swell when they are warm and contract when they are cold. I have very big hands and my ring size is R and half, but when my hands are cold I find that it is a bit loose and I be worried that it could slip off, but it never does!
