Mother in Law - How do you get on? good / bad?

How do you get on with your mother in law? share how you feel about your mother in law here..

I get on great, she loves to talk so is mostly happy with a few "OOhs, Ahhh, yes or no's"

She is fab we have a great relationship very lucky..

My mother in law to be is a lovely woman. Unfortunatly she has had a hard few years and is on different medications for different illness's so is quiet slow and gets confused. She has called me my fiances ex's name and his brothers wifes name on many occasions, but i dont mind its not intentional. Lovely lady xx

my MIL to be is lovely but i must admit that i do feel quite awkward around her sometimes... there was a phase last year that i went through where i thought she didnt like me and she was dropping little subtle hints mabe it was in my head.... for example one time she said to me about my H2B "poor lad never has any luck bad stuff always happens to him".... i felt quite offended by that because i would like to think im a good thing in his life lol!! she has also on a few times called me his ex girlfriends name..... they have a child together and MIL would be quite involved with her still for the little boys sake.... i dunno she is treally nice and has really helped us out but its a little strained and to be honest it upsets me a bit because my own mother passed away and it would be nice to have a better relationship with her and to be able to sit down and chat about wedding plans etc.... ah well you cant have it all!! she is a lovely lady she is so good to my little boy and if i ever need a sitter she always offers its just that awkwardness...

I would have a fairly ok relationship with mother in law, i can get on with her and chat to her somedays and other days its tough! No 100% sure what she thinks of me, but shes not said anything bad or tried to stop us getting married so id say it might all be in my head!

Hi. I get on well with my soon to be MIL. She has her moments though, so sometimes you have to take a couple of deep breaths, especially when i had my little girl.
